A very exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager looking for a new challenge. Must have 5 years childcare experience and a minimum of 2 years management experience.This 46 place Nursery is part of a small nursery chain in the Vale area of Oxfordshire. The post require's someone who is very focused, motivated and passionate. You will need to be confident when leading and guiding childcare professionals creating a happy and stimulating environment within the nursery.With all your exceptional skills and leadership you will receive lots of job satisfaction and progression from this role as you will feel secure knowing that you are working for an ever growing, dynamic and successful business.Some of your responsibilities will include:•To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education•To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff•To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculum's are implemented and adhered to at all times•To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends•To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels•To implement an effective parent liaison programme, to be influential in developing strong links with parents.•To manage all day to day operations of the nurseryYou will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:•NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent•Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation•Knowledge of OFSTED standards•Excellent knowledge of the EYFS•Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines•Good time management skills•Excellent communication skills•Strong people management skills•Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc.•Previous relevant supervisory experienceIf you are a strong Deputy Manager considering that move to Nursery Management this could be the post for you!Excellent rates of pay up to £26,000 bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development.This position is offered full time and permanent.All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced CRB Disclosure.We take pride in being ethical and in encouraging an environment of openness in all interactions.
