A very exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge.Kangacrew are looking to recruit a Deputy manager who is very focused, motivated and passionate. You will need to be confident when leading and guiding childcare professionals creating a happy and stimulating environment within the nursery.With all your exceptional skills and leadership you will receive lots of job satisfaction and progression from this role as you will feel secure knowing that you are working for an ever growing, dynamic and successful business.Some of your responsibilities will include:•To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education •To effectively lead and manage the staff team in the nursery managers absence
•To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculum's are implemented and adhered to at all times •To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends •To manage all day to day operations of the nursery in the managers absenceYou will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience: •NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent •Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation •Knowledge of OFSTED standards •Excellent knowledge of the EYFS •Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines •Good time management skills •Excellent communication skills •Strong people management skills •Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities/SENCO etc. •Previous relevant supervisory experience Excellent rates of pay, bonuses and benefits with ongoing support and career development.
We have two positions vacant, one full time and one part time, we also have a Maternity Deputy Manager position available for 6 + months.All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced CRB Disclosure.
